CHARATAN’S MAKE De Luxe 58

A compact, lightweight and seemingly really very old dublin lovat pipe made yet in the Charatan’s family times (Reuben era, before 1960), note the shape number placed on the same side of tha shank that other nomenclature. A very interesting finding!

The pipe marking is “CHARATAN’S MAKE \ LONDON. ENGLAND \ De LUXE”, “58”. The length is 13.0 cm (5.12″), bowl’s height is 5.0 cm (1.97″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.2 cm (1.26″), internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 4.4 cm (1.73″) and this pipe weights 27 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber looks a little bit out of round.
