England, 1960s
A high grade Charatan’s pipe of “the second Lane era” (1965-76), the period of the brightest blossoming of this brand, delightful shapes and grains, which eclipsed all others pipe makers including Dunhill. Fantastic straight grain!
The pipe markings are “(L)”, “CHARATAN’S MAKE \ LONDON. ENGLAND \ DISTINCTION”, “4”, MADE BY HAND”. The length is 16.5 cm (6.5″), bowl’s height is 5.1 cm (2″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.5 cm (1.77″), internal diameter is 2.2 cm (0.87″). The depth is 3.7 cm (1.46″) and this pipe weights 49 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.

Can you tell models and prices?
I have see that charatan’s selected with burn mark that’s listed on eBay?
How much is that one? Any other ones with good price tag?
