  1. Thank you much for the information on Charatan Make pipes and the link to the Dating_of article.

  2. I recently acquired a Charatan brindle with the marking of JO or J0 on the shaft. Does anyone know the significance of this stamp?

  3. I recently purchased a Charatan Countryman Selected FH, made between 1940 and 1958. I found it in a secondhand shop and paid £60 for it. It needs a good clean, but looks to be in good condition. Am I to understand this is quite a rare piece? What might be it’s approximate value?
