STRAMBACH meerschaum pipe

STRAMBACH meerschaum restemmed

Austria

It is safe to say that the Austrian manufacturer Strambach is behind this pipe. Since 1904, Strambach has been delighting smokers with mouthpieces and meerschaum pipes. Today, it is the only manufacturer of meerschaum and calabash pipes in the European Union and is a highly respected company in Austria, having received numerous awards. Edith Corrieri, who has been the sole owner, manager, and leading craftsman since 1974, became one of the first female pipe makers in this industry—an area where we typically expect to see, as a rule, good-natured, mustachioed Turkish men.

As our visitors suggest, the Strambach company ceased to exist around 2016. Well, another interesting book has been read to the end…

  • SER JACOPO R1

Italy This may not be the most valuable Ser Jacopo pipe we have ever showcased, but its allure lies in its convenient and comfortable shape, masterful rustication, and, of course, the prestigious name it bears.
