A nice example of the incomparable and legendary rustication from Sasieni – one of the most aggressive and active competitors of Dunhill for many years. The family business successfully worked till 1979 – until the recession of demand in pipes has forced to sell business to new investors, and interest in Sasieni among collectors has gone down significantly. In our case it is the Old England pipe still from the “Alfred era” (made before 1979), a very pleasant finding both for collectors and just experienced & demanding smokers.

The pipe markings are “71 \ OLD ENGLAND \ LONDON MADE”, “MADE IN \ ENGLAND”. The length is 15.4 cm (6.06″), bowl’s height is 4.7 cm (1.85″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.4 cm (1.34″), internal diameter is 1.9 cm (0.75″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 37 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, aluminum stinger.
