PETRESON'S Dublin 6

PETERSON’S Dublin 6

Ireland, 2006

This attractive Peterson’s billiard pipe with the silver cap is really a wonderful artisan’s tribute to old and everlasting traditional Petersons.

“Each pipe in this range is distinguished by its fill-free finish, either smooth or sandblasted, and expert metal fitments, shaped and applied by the hands of our most experienced craftsman. Our silversmiths are among the most talented in the world, having undergone traditional five-to-eight-year apprenticeships under a senior craftsman; each smith has engineered his own mandrel, meaning that every metal fitment is imprinted with the subtle, personal style of the one who machined it” (c) Peterson site.

Pipe markings “Peterson’s \ DUBLIN”, “6”
Length 15.1 cm (5.94″)
Bowl Height 5.0 cm (1.97″)
Outside Diameter 3.9 cm (1.54″)
Chamber Diameter 2.2 cm (0.87″)
Chamber Depth 4.2 cm (1.65″)

Briar, vulcanite stem, 9 mm filter. Please note that the previous owner’s excessive reaming required considerable effort to restore the chamber and silver cap to their original round shape. While we have made every effort to rectify the issue, there may still be minor dents, scratches, and bends on the cap. Furthermore, we cannot confirm if the nails securing the cap are original.

The pipe was thoroughly cleaned, polished, sanitized and now is ready for a new life.

Ireland, 1970-80s Everyone knows that Peterson’s pipes are great smokers! And that Peterson’s Shystem pipes are the greatest. Ireland, 1970-80s The Dunmore series was produced in 1970-80s and represents in fact the same highly popular Peterson’s System design.
