PETERSON De Luxe N/L 458 (Irish Free State)

Ireland, 1922-37

A true pre-republic Peterson’s pipe made in the period between 1922 and 1937. The pipe is elegant, lightweight and has a perfect genealogy! The chamber is a bit out of the bowl center. Perhaps the previous owner used to smoke it and drive a car with a right-hand wheel.

The pipe markings are “PETERSON \ DE LUXE \ N\L”, “IRISH \ FREE STATE”, “458”. The length is 15.9 cm, bowl’s hight is 3.5 cm. External diameter of the bowl is  4.5 cm,  internal diameter is 1.8 cm. The depth is 2.8 cm and this pipe weights 25 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
