England, 1950-70s

The highest grade GBD pipe made in 1970s the latest, before the acquisition of the company by Cadogan. Amazing straight plus birdeyes grain, elegant aristocratic shape, great lightweight briar make the pipe an incomparable addition to any collection. 

The pipe markings are “(GBD) \ Pedigree”, “LONDON ENGLAND \ 9488”. The length is 15.0 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.1 cm. External diameter of the bowl is  4.0 cm,  internal diameter is 2.3 cm. The depth is 3.3 cm and this pipe weights 34 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat. The stem has been slightly corrected, you may notice the repair track under a bright light.
