In the beginning Dunhill created Bruyere. And several years (1910-1917) it was the single brand made by the company of a firm and dense Calabrian briar. And though pre WWII “bruyeres” were marked just by a letter “A” instead of model, the Bruyere series is the one of the oldest long-livers not only in the Dunhill family, but also among all pipes in general. A classical lightweight pot from 1976.

The pipe markings are”DUNHILL \ BRUYERE”, “416”, “MADE IN \ ENGLAND 16”. The length is 14.4 cm, bowl’s hight is 3.5 cm. External and internal diameters of the bowl are 3.4 cm and 1.8 cm. The depth is 2.8 cm and this pipe weights 36 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter .
