STANWELL 71 Regd (S. Ivarsson)

A very nice and collectable Danish pipe from the most famous Stanwell period. The registration number was obtained by the company in 1948 and Stanwell pipes were stamped with it until early 1970’s.  The shape 71 was designed by a great friend of Stanwell company – Sixten Ivarssson. ​

The pipe markings are “STANWELL \ REGD N 969-48 \ MADE IN DENMARK “, “71”. The length is 13.7 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.4 cm. External diameter of the bowl is  3.6 cm,  internal diameter is 1.9 cm. The depth is 3.6 cm and this pipe weights 31 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
