The absolute majority of our pipes are made of briar. Nevertheless we’re glad to make an exclusion for this French Ropp cherry wood pipe. In the XX century Ropp was for French smokers the same as Dunhill for English people or Peterson for Irishmen – a synonym to the “smoking pipe” concept . Though Ropp was one of the first makers who started to use briar, their affordable and unique cherry wood pipes remain popular, collectable and pleasantly enjoyed!

The pipe markings are “ROPP \ DE LUXE \ MADE IN FRANCE”. The length is 14.8 cm (5.83″), bowl’s height is 4.6 cm (1.81″). External dimensions of the bowl are 3.8 x 4.0 cm (1.5 x 1.57″), internal diameter is 1.8 cm (0.71″). The depth is 3.5 cm (1.38″) and this pipe weights 51 gr. Cherrywood, vulcanite stem, aluminium stinger.
