PARKER Straight Grain

PARKER Straight Grain

England

At the very beginning Parker Pipe Co Limited was formed by Dunhill in 1922 as a “second brand” – the company was intended to finish products, which were not conform to Dunhill’s requirements for some reasons. In the course of time the brand made a great success from the “second” to a separate production (Parker pipes were carved, drilled and finished in an own way) and finally to a separate brand status. This pipe belongs to the new era, i.e. it was made after 1967, when Parker and Hardcastle’s were merged into the Parker-Hardcastle Limited and got some degree of independency. A really rare “Straight Grain” Parker pipe from the Dunhill’s family!

The pipe markings are “Parker \ OF LONDON”, “STRAIGHT GRAIN”. The length is 16.2 cm (6.34″), bowl’s height is 5.7 cm (2.24″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.0 cm (1.57″), internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 4.4 cm (1.73″) and this pipe weights 52 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.

  • CHARATAN’S Make Selected
