Orlik De Luxe L155

Orlik De Luxe L155

England

The name Orik sounds exactly like the name of kozak’s hetman (leader) Pylyp Orlyk. Unfortunately it seems to be just a coincidence. The Orlik Tobacco company was founded by three Danish companies and we are living in the country of “Golde Gate”. Actually GG makes not such bad pipes but they don’t have this magic golden circle on the stem.

This one Orlik pipe is also from the pre-cadogan period, what means they are independent indeed. The markings are “Orlik De Luxe Made in England” and “L155”. The pipe is 14.4 cm long, 5.0 cm tall and weights 24 gr. The bowl’s external diameter is 2.7 cm, inner – 1.8 cm, inner depth – 4.0 cm. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
