Grosvenor London Made

Grosvenor London Made

England

This pipe is not so easy to identify as we may expect from a straight shape pipe. During different time periods the brand name “Grosvenor” was used both by Charatan and Sasieni. Nevertheless neither from the pipe’s nomenclature nor from it’s shape we can say definitely that the pipe belongs to one of these manufacturers – there are no other markings at all. So either gentemen from Charatan (Sasieni?) were not accurate enough with stamps (pardon, but it was a usual story) or this is a creature of someone else.

Despite such a vague origin the pipe is lightweight, elegant and it didn’t require too much effort to reniew it. So our general score is 5 points. The marking is “Grosvenor London Made”. The pipe is 14.0 cm long, 3.0 cm tall and weights 24 gr. The bowl’s external diameter is 3.5 cm, inner – 1.9 cm, inner depth – 2.4 cm. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
