GBD Pedigree

GBD Pedigree

England, 1950-70s

The highest grade GBD pipe made in 1970s the latest, before the acquisition of the company by Cadogan. Amazing grain, elegant traditional English pot shape, great lightweight briar make the pipe an incomparable addition to any collection. Please note, the pipe doesn’t have a shape number, what is a really rare case for the GBD production.

The pipe markings are “(GBD) \ Pedigree”, “LONDON ENGLAND”. The length is 15.2 cm (5.98″), bowl’s height is 4.2 cm (1.65″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.0 cm (1.57″), internal diameter is 2.3 cm (0.91″). The depth is 3.4 cm (1.34″) and this pipe weights 76 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has moderate smoked wear not excluding light roughness, but without any substantial issues. The bowl had a few small chips we’ve very carefully and reliably patched.
