VAUEN 309 150th Anniversary

Germany, 1998

A pipe of the very special limited edition dedicated to the VAUEN 150 anniversary (1998). Every respectable manufacturer strives to show in pipes of the year and jubilee pipes the very best examples of the design and craftsmanship and at the same time keep the pipe recognizable. And we must admit VAUEN did an excellent job: the pipe is distinguished by its exquisite finish and really luxurious silver work. A collectable sample indeed!

The pipe marking is “VAUEN \ 309”. The length is 13.7 cm (5.39″), and the bowl’s height is 4.3 cm (1.69″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.3 cm (1.69″), internal diameter is 2.2 cm (0.87″). The depth is 3.2 cm (1.26″) and this pipe weighs 51 gr. Briar, acrylic stem (a little bit patched near the button, you may identify the trace under a bright light), 9 mm filter. The pipe was accurately smoked and well preserved.
