Vauen is a kind of a “thing in itself” and it’s usually difficult to date a specific pipe due to conservative stamping approach and lost during the WWII company’s archives. So we couldn’t say so far why our today’s Vauen De Luxe Pipe has no shape number at all and when exactly it was produced.
The pipe is interesting rather as an example of reshaping and resteming performed for an old good customer. Originally it was coated with a thick layer of lacquer, but its natural grain appeared to be very interesting itself.
