Unbranded spigot

Unbranded spigot

Unknown origin

A very interesting and ingenious construction: an apple-shaped spigot pipe with the gold filled collar and feets. So the traditional shape has been transformed into a sitter: it will reliably sit on the table while you pour some more brandy into your glass. 1/20 14K G.F. on the collar means the gold layer is 14 karat gold and comprises 1/20th of the total weight of the collar.

The pipe marking is “1/20 14K G.F.”. The length is 14.0 cm (5.51″), bowl’s height is 4.5 cm (1.77″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.0 cm (1.57″), internal diameter is 2.2 cm (0.87″). The depth is 3.5 cm (1.38″) and this pipe weights 40 gr. Briar, bone (?) stem, no filter. The stummel had a few factory fills reliably replaced during the restoration.
