PETERSON'S Dublin 3

PETERSON’S Dublin 3

Ireland, 1910-15

This compact “military” billiard has recently celebrated its century. Except the name of the maker and the city name, there are no other markings on the pipe, in particular a designation of the manufacturing country (COM). Such situation was in 1910-15, when the Peterson patent has already expired, but the stamp “Made in Ireland” wasn’t applied yet. A rarity!

The pipe markings are “PETERSON’S \ DUBLIN \ 3”, “K&P \ \ PETERSON \ DUBLIN”. The length is 13.4 cm (5.28″), bowl’s height is 3.8 cm (1.5″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.0 cm (1.18″), internal diameter is 1.7 cm (0.67″). The depth is 3.4 cm (1.34″) and this pipe weights 22 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
