PETERSON'S System Standard 314 unsmoked

PETERSON’S System Standard 314 unsmoked

Ireland, 1970-80s

The pipe does not need any long and detailed representations. It’s the real lightweight, shining and still unsmoked Peterson’s system pipe made in 1970-80s (we have obtained it together with a Peterson’s Dunmore pipe made at that time).

The pipe markings are “314”, “Peterson’s \ SYSTEM \ STANDARD”, “MADE IN THE \ REPUBLIC \ OF IRELAND”. The length is 12.8 cm (5.04″), bowl’s height is 4.5 cm (1.77″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.5 cm (1.38″), internal diameter is 1.8 cm (0.71″). The depth is 3.6 cm (1.42″) and this pipe weights 36 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The pipe comes with a box (marked with another Peterson’s model, perhaps a tobacconist took just the first available box to pack the pipe) and a sleeve, both have siginificant signs of storing over many decades.
