PARKER Super Bruyere 5/F

England, 1950-60s

A traditional English Parker pipe made approxymately between 1957 and 1967, before merge with Hardcastle Pipe Ltd. It was the period, when Parker succesfully combined Dunhill’s resources and production facility and its own, at times very different from Dunhill’s approach to carving, shaping, finishing and marketing. Therefore both experienced pipe collectors and refined smokers highly evaluate these “Parkers”. The pipe looks to be very lightl smoked and comes with the original (heavily used) box, pouch, pipe cleaners (they became yellow color after many years of storage, but so you may be sure thay are original :-)) and very useful guide for pipe smokers.

The pipe marking is “PARKER \ \ BRUYERE”, “5/F”,”MADE IN LONDON \ ENGLAND”. The length is 13.2 cm (5.2″), bowl’s height is 4.3 cm (1.69″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.4 cm (1.34″), internal diameter is 1.9 cm (0.75″). The depth is 3.5 cm (1.38″) and this pipe weights 32 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, aluminium tube (stinger).
