JOHN REDMAN Redman's Royal set

JOHN REDMAN Redman’s Royal set

England

Every respected pipe manufacturer tried to expand the range and to attract buyers not only with a variety of models, shapes and finishes, but also with numerous “delicacies”: accessories, pipes sets – for 7 days, for 5 days, “evening – morning”, and so on and so forth. Naturally, the value of such set is far higher, than a sum of costs of the pipes separately, and collectors are still are at war for each artifact. Naturally, John Redman’s factory offered a lot of own accessories and own presentation sets (see the 6-pipe Kings Ransom box in the catalog). And recently we succeeded to obtain a wonderful Redman’s Royal set, consisting of two still unsmoked pipes of the highest grade. A great finding to brag!

Both pipes are marked “REDMAN’S ROYAL \ LONDON MADE”, “MADE IN \ ENGLAND”.

The straight pipe’s length is 14.8 cm (5.83″), bowl’s height is 4.7 cm (1.85″). External diameter of the bowl is  4.3 cm (1.69″),  internal diameter is 2.1 cm (0.83″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 50 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.

The bent pipe’s length is 13.2 cm (5.2″), bowl’s height is 5.4 cm (2.12″). External diameter of the bowl is  3.9 cm (1.54″),  internal diameter is 2.1 cm (0.83″). The depth is 4.7 cm (1.85″) and this pipe weights 57 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
