England We didn’t find any hint who could make this pipe. Some sources mention Comoy’s London Tower pipes although the stamping font on this pipe is noticeably different to Comoys. England A nicely made English pipe. The heavy bowled bent shape and cross cut grain look quite similar to Charatan’s products from 1960’s, but the pipe is just a beautiful item regardless its origin. And the dark spot on the bowl’s back doesn’t prevent a smoking pleasure.
Italy An unsmoked and really large Collection grade pipe of the one of the most respected and collected modern Italian high grade pipe makers. Luigi Viprati (1953) started to carve pipes during his military service and since 1982 he’s a full time pipe maker.
Denmark, 2020s A fantastic catch from the last trip to Copenhagen: fresh, breathtaking and (of course:-)))) unsmoked Poul Winslow Crown 300 freehand pipe directly from the Danish Pipe Shop. Will stay in our own collection as warm remembrance about the country, people and cordial welcome in TDPS.
