A younger sister of Dunhill Cumberland. Brown sandblasted “Cumberlands” have been started to be produced in 1979 on the occasion of closing of warehouses on Cumberland Road. The series was very popular and in 1983 Dunhill decided to start even a more excquisite smooth version of this series – a “Chestnut”. Surely, you won’t mistake its family trait – an attractive unusual cumberland stem. A very traditional, very young and lightly smoked Chestnut bent pipe from 2011!

The pipe markings are “(dunhill)”, “4102F \ 9 MM”, “CHESTNUT \ MADE IN ENGLAND 11”. The length is 14.0 cm (5.51″), bowl’s height is 4.9 cm (1.93″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.7 cm (1.46″), internal diameter is 1.9 cm (0.75″). The depth is 3.8 cm (1.5″) and this pipe weights 53 gr. Briar, cumberland stem, 9 mm filter.​
