Zino Davidoff, renowned for his luxury cigar business, expanded his product range to include pipes in 1974. Since then, the Davidoff pipe collection has remained largely unchanged, offering the same 14 shapes in three finishes. It appears that only the contractors have changed over time. Originally, the primary supplier of Davidoff pipes was the French Cuty Fort Group (known for brands such as Chacom, Jeantet, Vuillard, Lacroix, and Ropp). However, according to recent information on their website, all Davidoff pipes—including the limited-edition pipes of the year—are now made in Italy, using high-quality Italian briar. Despite the shifts in manufacturing, Davidoff pipes have continued to enjoy sustained demand and are held in high regard by smokers worldwide.
