Luigi Radice is an official record-holder as the maker of the world’s largest pipe and unofficial – as one of the oldest Italian pipe makers. Luigi (Gigi) started his career in 1961 at Castello where he has got an incomparable experience of Italian pipe making. In 1968 Luigi joins Guiseppe Ascorti to found famous Caminetto brand. And since 1980 Radice is owner of a family enterprise named Pipa Radice. Radice Clear pipes belong to their upper grades just after “Clear F (FF, FFF)” and “Collect” series. The symbol “G” in the nomenclature means an extra large pipe. The pipe has no year of production stamp what means it was made before 2009.

The pipe markings are “RADICE \ CLEAR \ G”, “hand \ made in italy”. The length is 14.3 cm (5.63″), bowl’s height is 6.3 cm (2.48″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.8 cm (1.5″), internal diameter is 2.1 cm (0.83″). The depth is 5.3 cm (2.09″) and this pipe weights 44 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
