Hand made pipe from a great Italian carver. Aldo Pierluigi started carving pipes in the 1970s, all pipes are made from the best Italian briar, all bowls are carved and finished by hands, no templates. Until today Aldo works 12 hours a day 7 days per week and is famous as one of the most hardworking makers, who offers great pipes for a great price. Most of modern pipes from Aldo are marked “Mastro Beraldi” and pipes with Per I Miei Amici (“for my friends”) nomenclature are made for friends and the best customers. The condition of this pipe is really good, it’s difficult to carp at something – the pipe was smoked accurately and with love.

The pipe markings are “Pierluigi \ FATTA A MANO \ PER I MIEI AMICI”. The length is 15.1 cm (5.94″), bowl’s height is 4.8 cm (1.89″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.8 cm (1.5″), internal diameter is 2.2 cm (0.87″). The depth is 3.6 cm (1.42″) and this pipe weights 34 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. There was a very small neatcrack on the shank, therefore we banded additionally the shank with a collar. The logo on the stem was set slightly to right side but we suspect it might be an original artisans idea – that looks really stylish 🙂
