STANWELL Hans Christian Andersen

Denmark

A pipe of the exclusive series from Stanwell: the bowl is made in the calabash shape and completed with two stems: one standard lenght acrylic and one long made of vulcanite, so you may use it either as a “traditional” pipe or as an churchwarden. Great finding! The pipe comes with an original tube with some noticeable signs of storage.

The pipe markings are “STANWELL \ DANISH DESIGN \ HANS CHRISTIAN \ ANDERSEN”. The length is 15.2 cm (5.98″) with the standard stem and 25.8 (10.16″) cm with the long stem, bowl’s height is 4.9 cm (1.93″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.1 cm (1.61″), internal diameter is 1.9 cm (0.75″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 44 or 46 gr depending on the attached stem. Briar, vulcanite and acrylic stems, no filter.
