The W.Ø. Larsen Port pipes are relatively affordable and they were made already during the 1980-90s, when the company tried to enter a mass market. Due to its unique shape the pipe sits in a hand very comfortably and naturally. A wonderful example!

Le pipe W.Ø. Larsen Port sono relativamente convenienti e sono state prodotte già negli anni ’80 e ’90, quando l’azienda ha cercato di entrare nel mercato di massa. Grazie alla sua forma unica, la pipa si tiene in mano in modo molto comodo e naturale. Un meraviglioso esempio!

The pipe belongs to one of the most popular and respected pre-Cadogan Comoy’s grades. This attractive billiard was made during the 1950-70s period (see the nomenclature and the 3-part (inlaid) “C” on the stem).An intersting (and rare!) detail: the pipe was made and marked for a tobacconist in the capital of Netherlands. Evidently, this pipe has endured a challenging and turbulent journey throughout its biography. Beyond the customary cleaning, deoxidation, and polishing, considerable effort was invested in sanding and mending numerous scratches and dents on the bowl, carefully repairing a tooth mark on the stem, and securing two shank cracks with a nickel band. Though traces of repair are visible under keen scrutiny, this pipe brims with renewed vitality and eagerly awaits a fresh start in a new home.The year suffix initially bore a single digit, yet it appears to have undergone restamping, most likely at a Dunhill store, to extend the warranty.
