This is an exceptionally rare find. Until now, we had not encountered any information about the Bewy series from BEWLAY, one of London’s most esteemed tobacconists. Prestigious brands such as Barling, Charatan’s, Loewe, Sasieni, and Orlik produced pipes for them. Today, not only is this pipe available, but it also comes with its original box and even a “warranty card.”

The accompanying document provides valuable historical details, including the exact date of sale—March 1, 1951—and the shop’s address at 30 Berkeley Street, London. Even more remarkably, the pipe has remained unsmoked since its purchase 73 years ago, preserved exactly as it was on the day it was bought. This is truly a fantastic find!

As for the possible manufacturer, we would lean toward Loewe. However, if you have other theories, we would be delighted to discuss them with you.
