The history knows Ascot pipes produced in the UK by H. Perkins & Sons since early XX century. Also a brand with the same name was produced in France by La Bruyère (since 1932) and then – by Chacom. This timei it’s an Ascot series pipe made by German leading manufacturer – Vauen. The distinctive traits of the line are very thorough attention to finish and the special design of the saddle stem with the very short base.

The pipe markings are “Ascot \ VAUEN 411”. The length is 13.8 cm (5.43″), bowl’s hight is 5.3 cm (2.09″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.3 cm (1.69″), internal diameter is 2.1 cm (0.83″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 52 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, 9 mm filter. The pipe comes with a box (it’s stamped with a different shape number, but that’s a usual situation at tobacconists stores) with noticeable traces of long storage and a sleeve.
