SØREN 3

SØREN 3

Denmark

“Søren” is the pre name of Søren Refbjerg Rasmussen (more known as Refbjerg) – famous Danish artisan and founder of the small company (8-12 craftsmen in 1970s). The very best pipes were finished by the carver himself and stamped “Refbjerg”, while more affordable creations were marked “Søren”. Nevertheless this pipe is undoubtedly unique – the artisan’s inspiration creates something really incredible!

The pipe markings are “SØREN \ HAND CARVED \ COPENHAGEN \ DENMARK”, “3”. The length is 16.2 cm (6.38″), bowl’s height is 6.1 cm (2.4″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.2 cm (1.65″), internal diameter is 2.3 cm (0.9″). The depth is 5.0 cm (1.97″) and this pipe weights 65 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The stem has very thin and hardly noticeable (unless you look under a very bright light) scratches carefully fixed during restoration.
