SCOTT

Denmark

Nobody knows where his investigations can bring. We looked recently for an information about a rare Danish manufactory and came across the description of the American patent No. US3750677 (1971). There is described a basically new (at least according to inventor’s believe) construction of a smoking pipe: it has to be made as a kind of a knee with invariable internal diameter and a moving stem. So any smoker can adjust a depth of his pipe and the pipe cleaning should be much more convenient. Fortunately or not but we didn’t see any implementation of this idea so far.
But what about that manufactory? Their pipes are relatively rare due to the small production volumes but they are still available sometimes. And of course their quality and design are Danish indeed. Look at this freehand!

The pipe marking is “SCOTT”. The length is 14.3 cm, bowl’s hight is 6.3 cm. External and internal diameters of the bowl are 3.1 cm and 2.4 cm. The depth is 4.7 cm and this pipe weights 46 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
