Denmark

Danish carver Preben Holm was perhaps the most bright and inspiring person in history of pipe making. He sold his first pipes before his 16 birthday. Preben Holm was one of most significant inventors and developers of “Danish pipe design” and many smokers and enthusiasts respect him as a father of freehand pipes.

The pipe markings are “PREBEN HOLM \ FANCY \ CELEBRATION \ HAND MADE \ IN \ DENMARK”. The length is 14.5 cm (5.71″), bowl’s height is 5.8 cm (2.28″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.7 x 5.0 cm (1.85 x 1.97″), internal diameter is 2.3 cm (0.91″). The depth is 4.2 cm (1.65″) and this pipe weights 72 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
