PETERSON'S System Prefect 314

PETERSON’S System Prefect 314

Ireland

We didn’t find any information on the Peterson Prefect series, but generally the pipe is a well known and reasonably respected Peterson Systems pipe of the 314 shape. The stem is a nicely made replacement one, it has a traditional P-Lip shape but the drilling is coming to the end of the button unlike other Peterson stems.

The pipe markings are “PETERSON’S \ SYSTEM \ PREFECT”, “MADE IN THE \ REPUBLIC \ OF IRELAND”, “314”. The length is 12.7 cm (5″), bowl’s height is 4.3 cm (1.69″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.3 cm (1.3″), internal diameter is 1.7 cm (0.67″). The depth is 3.5 cm (1.38″) and this pipe weights 38 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.

Ireland, 1970-80s The Dunmore series was produced in 1970-80s and represents in fact the same highly popular Peterson’s System design.
