Denmark, 1970-80s

A nicely made Danish freehand from Erik Nording. The pipe comes the most probably from the 1970-80 when his old grading system was applied (A to F and 1, 2, 3….). An exquisite middle size smooth freehand pipe with attractive distinct grain!

The pipe markings are “NØRDING \ MADE IN DENMARK”, “5”. The length is 13.7 cm (5.39″), bowl’s height is 5.3 cm (2.09″). External dimesions of the bowl are 4.7 x 5.0 cm (1.85 x 1.97″), internal diameter is 2.3 cm (0.9″). The depth is 3.7 cm (1.46″) and this pipe weights 49 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
