MOLINA

MOLINA

Italy

In 1886 Ferdinando Rossi founded a pipe factory in Barasso, Lombardy. Over the time production came to leading positions: between two world wars Rossi’s factory was recognized as the largest in the world, 860 people worked there (95% of them – women), 50 000 pipes a day (it’s not a typo! yes, 50 000 a day!).

But until the centenary anniversary the company faced notable decline in demand for pipes, Rossi’s family left the business.  A new brand was started on the basis of production capacities and skilled people. Thus today Molina pleases smokers with its products: from refined handmade artisans pipes to reliable and affordable devices for every day.

The pipe markings are “Molina \ MADE IN ITALY”. The length is 14.0 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.7 cm. External diameter of the bowl is  4.7 cm, internal diameter is 1.9 cm. The depth is 3.9 cm and this pipe weights 67 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, 9 mm filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
