An unsmoked and really large Collection grade pipe of the one of the most respected and collected modern Italian high grade pipe makers. Luigi Viprati (1953) started to carve pipes during his military service and since 1982 he’s a full time pipe maker.

“These pipes are characterized by the great attention paid to grain as well as the accurate design. In this collection I focused my creativity on the shape, opening to new solutions, respecting however the traditional parameters. For these pipes I chose a selection of high quality pieces of briar, then seasoned from 7 to 10 years”. (L. Viprati)

The pipe markings are “(LA PIPA) \ L. Viprati”, “HAND MADE \ –ITALY–“, “Collection”. The length is 15.9 cm (6.26″), bowl’s height is 7.0 cm (2.76″). External dimensions of the bowl are 5.8 x 5.1 cm (2.28 x 2.01″), internal diameter is 2.4 cm (0.94″). The depth is 5.9 cm (2.32″) and this pipe weights 90 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, no filter.
