England

An upper middle grade pipe from the John Redman LTD & British Empire Pipe Co. factory in London in the middle of the XX century. Flawless briar with nice hairline grain, absolutely traditional English billiard shape, capacious chamber – it’s definitely worth your attention!

The pipe marking is “CANBERRA \ LONDON MADE”, “MADE IN ENGLAND”, “73”. The length is 15.5 cm (6.1″), bowl’s height is 4.9 cm (1.93″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.9 cm (1.54″), internal diameter is 2.1 cm (0.83″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 48 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber is looks a bit out of center. The tennon seems to be inaccurately filed off by the previous owner, but sits reliably.
