(JOHN REDMAN) British Knight

England, unsmoked

Undoubtedly this pipe is an unknown before and not registered in catalogues product of John Redman factory in London. Courageous combination of the classical stummel and fancy stem, specific stamping (LONDON MADE under a brand name and MADE IN ENGLAND on the opposite side of the shank) plus the specific model of the metallic air cooler – everything is very and very typical for the John Redman LTD & British Empire Pipe Co products.

The pipe markings are “BRITISH KNIGHT \ LONDON MADE”, “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The length is 13.4 cm (5.28″), bowl’s height is 4.7 cm (1.85″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.6 cm (1.42″), internal diameter is 1.9 cm (0.75″). The depth is 3.9 cm (1.54″) and this pipe weights 37 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, aluminium air cooler.

Therefore the pipe is interesting both as a creature of the legendary old, good and famous English manufactory…
