An export brand made by Jean Lacroix (†2007). The Lacroix family is one of the oldest French dynasties in the pipe making. The founder, Eugine Lacroix began with the Delacour factory back in the 19 century, his son and grandsons launched own workshop (1921) and registered own brand (later in 1962). The most successful of grandsons, Jean Lacroix became probably the world most famous French pipe maker and a highly respected Confrerie des Maitres-Pipiers participant. Today Lacroix brand belongs to Cuty-Fort Enterprises group among with such highly popular French manufacturers as Chacom, Jeantet, and Vuillard.

The pipe markings are “BRITTANY”, “ALGERIAN BRIAR \ MADE IN FRANCE”. The length is 14.9 cm (5.87″), bowl’s height is 4.9 cm (1.93″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.6 cm (1.42″), internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 3.9 cm (1.54″) and this pipe weights 38 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has a light roughness , perhaps left by a drilling spoon, but it will disappear under your cake soon.
