HARDCASTLE’S Royal Windsor Sandhewn 54

England, 1947-67

The Hardcastle’s pipe made between 1947 and 1967 when the company was already aquired by Dunhill but was lead still by the “family”management. The pipe was smoked perhaps just once or twice – the chamber is very clean. There was a small neatcrack in the shank repaired and the shank banded additionally with the collar. The airflow is not ideally centered therefore the pipe comes with a discount.

The pipe markings are “Hardcastle’s \ ROYAL WINDSOR”, SANDHEWN RGD”, “MADE IN LONDON ENGLAND”. The length is 13.5 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.5 cm. External and internal diameters of the bowl are 3.5 cm and 1.8 cm. The depth is 3.8 cm and this pipe weights 31 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
