HARDCASTLE’S Argyle

Argyle is obviously the Savory’s brand, but it seems that the pipe comes from the time, when both Savory and Hardcastle did belong to the Dunhill family and there were no objections to make a “Hardcastle’s Argyle”. This is really a nice pipe with a very stylish (Hardcastle’s) “weighted” bent shape and a pleasant grain!

The pipe markings are “Argyle \ LONDON MADE”, “MADE BY \ HARDCASTLE’S”. The length is 13.1 cm (5.16″), bowl’s height is 4.7 cm (1.85″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.4 cm (1.34″), internal diameter is 1.7 cm (0.67″). The depth is 3.8 cm (1.5″) and this pipe weights 33 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. There were a few small scratches and chips patched on the bowl.
