GBD Speciale 682

GBD Speciale 682

France

Yet another striking example of skills of the French GBD division. The company was the same on both coasts of the English Channel, but genuine French addiction to freedom of creativity and self-expression couldn’t be hidden under any regulations and corporate standards. And the result (especially in this case) is above any praises: the pipe turned out to be lightweight, compact, refined, and not many high grade pipes can display such fantastic grain. Excellent French GBD from the 1960s!

The pipe markings are “(GBD) \ SPECIALE \ STANDARD”, “FRANCE \ 682”. The length is 14.2 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.0 cm. External dimensions of the bowl are 2.8 x 3.5 cm,  internal dimensions – 1.4 x 2.2 cm. The depth is 3.2 cm and this pipe weights 28 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
