Among dozens, dozens and dozens of GBD brands and subbrands (seconds) GBD Penthouse pipes are really remarkable not only because of the series name, but also because of the specific stylish chair-leg stem shape. A very interesting example of the GBD carvers creative fantasy! The pipe is the most probably a creature of 1970s, when the company performed a number of experiments and launched a range of interesting grades and finishes, but before merge with Comoy’s under the Cadogan’s roof.
The pipe markings are “Penthouse \ MADE IN ENGLAND”, “LONDON. ENGLAND \ 9456”. The length is 10.6 cm (4.17″), bowl’s height is 4.6 cm (1.81″). External diameter of the bowl is 3.8 cm (1.5″), internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 4.0 cm (1.57″) and this pipe weights 43 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter.
