COMOY’S The Academy Award 484

The Academy Award series was planned initially as a special gift for participants of the Oscar ceremony, as you can see even a logo on the mouthpiece is corresponding. However, many and many ordinary smokers were interested in these pipes, therefore Comoy’s  started a mass production of The Academy Award series soon.

The pipe markings are “The \ ACADEMY AWARD \ LONDON PIPE”, “MADE \ IN \ LONDON \ ENGLAND”, “484”. The length is 14.8 cm (5.83″), bowl’s height is 4.7 cm (1.85″). External diameter of the bowl is  3.7 cm (1.46″),  internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 3.7 cm (1.46″) and this pipe weights 44 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break-in coat.
