England

A higher grade Charatan’s pipe made in the 1960s, “Lane era” – the most famous period in the company’s history. Unlike many other Charatan pipes of that times this sample is very close to the classical bent shape, but with a touch of artisans creativity. And of course the grain is almost perfectly straight and very distinct. So it’s a really rare and valuable pipe of the Selected series, next to the highest Supreme!

The pipe markings are “CHARATAN’S MAKE \ LONDON. ENGLAND \ SELECTED”, “FH”, “(L)”. The length is 14.7 cm (5.79″), bowl’s height is 4.6 cm (1.81″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.3 cm (1.69″), internal diameter is 1.8 cm (0.71″). The depth is 3.8 cm (1.5″) and this pipe weights 55 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has normal smoked wear without any critical issues.
