BREBBIA Ninja Noce 8311

Italy

A really great Italian pipe! We don’t have perhaps to repeat a well known story how Achille Savinelli and Enea Buzzi founded the Savinelli company in 1947 and how in 1953 theirs ways have parted: while Achille (responcible for marketing) stayed with Savinelli, Enea (responcible for manufacturing) founded his own brand named in honour of the home town, Brebbia (or better the M.P.B. (Manifattura Pipe Brebbia)).

Obviously the difference between these two greatest Italian brands reflects difference of the marketing oriented and production oriented management. Savinelli is extremely successful on each market and it’s undoubtedly one of the best known Italian names in the World. Brebbia is perhaps a bit less advertized but their devotion to the quality is highly respected by many and many pipe smokers around the Globe.

The pipe markings are “brebbia”, “NINJA \ NOCE”, “8311 \ ITALY”. The length is 14.3 cm (5.63″), bowl’s height is 5.2 cm (2.05″). External diameter of the bowl is 4.1 cm (1.61″), internal diameter is 2.0 cm (0.79″). The depth is 4.2 cm (1.65″) and this pipe weights 58 gr. Briar, acrylic stem, 9 mm filter. The pipe comes with the original box and bag.
