BARLING Londoner 494

BARLING Londoner 494

England, 1960-70s

The Londoner pipes were made in 1960-70s both in England and in Danmark (including Erik Nordning pipe factory). There’s no COM stamping on the pipe therefore we can’t say more definitely. But it’s really a great and amazing example of Barling production from that time! The section of the bowl is not an ideal square, but it could be done for more comfortable sitting in a hand.

The pipe markings are “LONDONER”, “494”. The length is 14.0 cm, bowl’s hight is 4.2 cm. External and internal dimesions of the bowl are 3.0 cm and 1.9 cm. The depth is 3.5 cm and this pipe weights 37 gr. Briar, vulcanite stem, no filter. The chamber has been protected with a break in coat.

Pipe markings…
